To provide the residents of Sunset Pointe, Southern Oaks, Stevenson Ranch, Westridge, Tesoro, Castaic, and Val Verde a voice in the future of their communities, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a motion by Supervisor Antonovich to place an advisory vote on the governance structure of the unincorporated areas of Santa Clarita Valley on the November 3, 2009 ballot.
